Just mailed off my work for this year’s Mail Me Art. It has a wheel on the flip side that lets you cycle through various objects in the window.

Hopefully it’ll arrive in one piece.

There’s only one week left before Print Club London’s Blisters Directors Cut exhibition opens its doors at the amazing MC Motors in Dalston, London.

If you haven’t heard… The exhibition will showcase 40 movie themed prints by 40 artists, in editions of 40, all priced at £40. Bargain!

Below is a sneaky peek of my print for the show. It’s based on the Paul Thomas Anderson film There Will Be Blood and titled I Drink Your Milkshake.

The PV looks like it’ll be great night, with movie themed cocktails, film projections, pizza, popcorn and a bunch of interesting people. If you fancy coming along to the PV on Friday 31st August (from 6pm) make sure you RSVP as it’s going to super busy! To RSVP email your full name to rsvp@printclublondon.com

Big thanks to the brilliant Kate, Fred, Rose, Lou and Harriet at Print Club London. Also special thanks Marco at Tuckshop for his maestro squeegee skills.

Beware the Troll of Deer Bridge! Here’s a bridge troll design for the upcoming Holly and the Wolf promo I’m working on.

Part troll, part deer, part Santa… this fella has a ravenous appetite for fresh meat and… erm… cake.

Enjoy!

The Holly and Wolf promo is taking shape. I’m focusing on backgrounds and character design at the moment. The character design is taking a tad longer than usual as I’m taking time to break down the illustrations into puppets to animate later.

So here are the designs for the hunters and white wolves…

The Hunters: Inseparable brothers Samneric aren’t too smart but from 600 yards they can nail a wolf between the eyes with a single shot. Kablam!

The White Wolves: These menacing ghosts are fleet of foot and relentless in their pursuit of Holly.

A couple of other character designs for the Holly and the Wolf promo I’m working on…

Character Design – The Black Wolf: One of the good guys and Holly’s trusted steed.

Character Design – Elf Gang: Small, greasy and dangerous in large numbers. A riled elf gang should not be messed with.
